Aha! My guess is that this is a British or Carribean recipe and that Milnot is either a brand of evaporated milk (eg.Carnation) or sweetened, condensed milk like Bordon's. You could probably tell which by the amount of sugar called for in the recipe. If they say to add less than 1 cup of sugar, then this Milnot might be sweetened, condensed milk. If your recipe calls for 1 cup or more of sugar, then it might be regular evaporated milk. Usually an ice cream recipe (for home quantities) has 4 cups of milk or cream or a combination of both. Check how much milk/cream is needed in order to see whether part of your cream is meant to be this mysterious Milnot.
