Thanks Angel and Gerard for both your replies. Gerard, I'm a pastry chef and do have experience making lots of sponges. Care to share your recipe?I'm assuming the filling for the torte is chocolate buttercream( the real stuff, not the "beat the butter, 10x sugar and cocoa together" kinda stuff!)?
