I thought you were baking something. Soup is more forgiving than pastry. If you measure out 1 cup of all-purpose flour by dipping the cup into the flour and leveling off the top, you will have 5 oz. of flour. Two level tablespoons should give you the 1/3-oz. But if I were you Betty and cooked a lot, I would invest in a scale. It makes life so much easier!
