Potato Candy

My mother is looking for something called potato candy. When she was a small girl in Pennsylvania, another girl would bring this to the school for parties. All my mother remembers is that it was made from mashed potatos, probably with powdered sugar, and a layer of peanut butter. Then it was rolled up like a cinnamon roll and cut into slices. Does anyone have any information on this? We would certainly appreciate any help. Thanks.
