What they meant by waterbath Ana is to bake the cheesecake in the oven with the pan with the cheesecake sitting in another pan which holds hot water. You place the pan with the cake into a bigger pan and then carefully pour very hot water into the outside pan until it is an inch in depth. Bake this whole setup in the oven.
