CREAM CHEESE PASTRY

Cream Cheese Pastry: 1½ cups flour ¼ teaspoon salt 5 Tablespoons butter 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 Tablespoon ice water

Sift together flour and salt. Cut in butter and cream cheese until mixture resembles coarse meal. Gradually sprinkle in ice water, tossing with fork. On plastic wrap, shape into a thick rectangle and wrap lightly. Chill 30 minutes.
