In Sweden where I am living there are no cakes decorated with icing and frosting only marzipan or wipped cream, but I´m trying to learn how to make those fantastic weddingcakes and such. Now my question. I thought that you used fondant icing or royal icing to cover your cake - now I saw a receipe where you covered the cake with sugarpaste - which I thought were used mostly for making flowers.... Help me out, please!
