I think that maybe you are thinking of a Norvegian Wedding Cake .This is an Almond Ring Cake that is baked in various size rings and assembled like a Trapez Tower. Inside one often places a Bottle of Chamagne. The Cake is iced and often decorated with tiny flags. Give me a holler back if you need to know more. Have a great day.
