This is a BIG favorite with my children. I found it in an old beat-up cookbook and I guard it with my life. I hope you enjoy it.

Hostess Cupcakes Bake cupcakes from any chocolate cake mix.

Beat together: 1/3 cup evaporated milk, 2/3 cup shortening, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 tsp. vanilla. Add 1 Tablespoon water and 1/4 heaping cup of powdered sugar. Beat an additional 5 minutes.

Fill decorator bag with filling and use writing tip. Punch hole in top and fill till cake puffs up-- too much and it will explode! Frost the top with chocolate icing. A taste only a kid loves and maybe some "closet-twinkie-lovin'-adults" Have fun. jane
