Theres a local weddin cake specialist that puts pure gold leaf on marzipan, the price is $10 pp. Sadly, it looks bad even with real gold. A gold ribbon is about as far as I'd go, maybe golden pulled sugar with blown sugar bubbles. Cheers, Gerard
