I'm supposed to make a cake with gold frosting to commemorate a Golden Anniversary, but I have no idea how to make a gold color.

I think I saw a gold & white cake in a Wilton Yearbook, but I don't know what year, so I can't find the instructions.

I have to decorate this cake this evening, so I'm a bit panicy. Any suggestions gladly accepted.
