There are a number of ways to do this. Copy your picture on to a piece of paper. Make holes with pin in the line, lay on cake and lightly dust withg cocoa. Be careful when you remove the paper. Or overpipe the reverse side of the pattern with piping gel or icing and turn over onto top of cake, gently press line with finger. Hope this helps
