Z-Bake is a software program for the bakery industry. It has different modules (AP, AR, GL, POS, Puchase order, Salesorder and most importantly Inventory control and Recipe calculation) It's pretty expensive (approx $800 (?$? not sure) for each module) but is very powerful. Everything is totally integrated and recipe calculation, inventory levels and ingredient costs are instantly updated to provide the lastest costs & sales states & order reports. It lets your print bakers production reports and calculates how many # of batter or how many trays of cookies you have to bake for the next day.

Example: If you are receiving a Purchase order with 1 # butter for $2.50 all recipes that use butter are automaticly updated to reflect that new ingredient cost and updates each individuals product cost of good.

The bad side: It takes a long time to setup as all ingredients, packaging and recipes have to be entered into the Database, which may take several weeks.
