Thanks Gerald, that's not it, thank goodness. I can't imagine baking anything 7 hrs. Anyway, this recipe does have corn meal in it, but also corn. It is like a pudding/casserole...eggs, milk, cornbread mix, can corn, cream corn...and that is all we can remember...baked in oven and then is spooned out.???? Spoon bread recipes are close. Any ideas anyone?
