I hope this is it... AUTUMN WOODLAND CAKE

1 c. shortening 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. vanilla 2 c. sugar 4 eggs, unbeaten 2 Tbsp. baking powder 3 c. sifted cake flour 1 c. milk

Blend shortening, salt and vanilla. Add sugar gradually and cream well. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat after each addition. Sift baking powder with flour 3 times. Add flour to creamed mixture alternately with milk, mixing after each addition until smooth. Bake 30 to 35 minutes in 350 degrees oven.
