I have a recipe for ganache which calls for whipping cream, chocolate and flavoring. It comes out perfect. However, I just ran accross another recipe which is the same except it has two additional ingrediants - corn syrup and vegetable oil. Which of these is truly a ganache? Why the addition of the liquids?
