The following web address was listed in a previous post regarding canning tomato sauce, perhaps it will help.

I used to make my own bbq sauce and sell it what i did was buy a seal a meal with jar attachment . and then use regular canning jars. Make sure you heat the inner lid first and while they are still hot put them on your jars and seal according to seal a meal instructions. after you have sealed them and before you put the ring's on you can dress them up using small squars of cloth.

This is what I do.While sauce is hot and boiling.Take clean canning jars and set on a clean towel.Put lid and rings in a pan of very hot water.Fill jars and wipe off any spills on the mouth of the jar.Be careful take out of hot water lids and rings and put on jars. Screw rings until hand tight. The hot liquid seals the jars.If one does not seal.Heat sauce again and repeat process. Or you can put the jars of sauce with lids and rings on,in a dutch oven size pan and put extra rings in the bottom so jars are not setting on bottom of pan and process 15 minutes. If you have a lid put on top or another pan to cover during process.Take out and set on a clean towel away from drafts. And they should seal.
